Bought Photoshop CS6 as a birthday present to myself. :) Got an awesome student discount on it. Thinking it's gonna be a pretty great year, even though I won't really be doing digital classes this semester.

Finally got some new work!! woooo America and fireworks and shit!!! lol. But yes this summer I have been mainly catching up with my friends, working, blah blah. Doing some self study photographing. I got this book from the library, Shooting Digital, and it's a really helpful book!
So yeah hopefully I'll get some other stuff up before I have to start packing and stuff to move into my apartment in August.
So...
Thinking I am finally getting my chance to try out photographing a protest! There's a march at the courthouse tomorrow for the Equal Pay Act. Also it's a cause I'm passionate about (since I am a working woman and I feel I don't get treated as well.)
So I'm skipping my lecture tomorrow, hopping on the bus and heading over. Wish me luck!
Update!
FINALLY added some new deviations!! Feel so accomplished. After working my butt off in Intro to Photography since oh, February or so, I finally have some photos to show for it. I have a few portraits to but my instructor is grading those at the moment (we had critique today; I didn't do so hott) so I'll get those up later.
Maybe I'll put up some of the other stuff I've been working on this year, like from drawing class, which is the only other class this year that I have decent work from. :/
